Elmhurst Cougars 13U-Red Bensenville Wood Bat Tournament Champs!
On July 6, 2008 the Elmhurst Cougars 13U-Red team won the 5th Annual Bensenville Wood Bat Invitational Tournament. Our Cougars lost their first
game to the Elmhurst Extreme 7 to 6. Following this temporary setback, the Cougars defeated the Bensenville Bulldogs 8 - 3 and Northwest Crushers
13 - 1 to finish pool play as the #1 seed. In the semifinals, the Cougars defeated the Elmhurst Extreme 12 to 3 to advance to the championship.
The Cougars then closed out the tournament in the Championship game with a 10 to 0 victory over the Northwest Crushers.
