Elmhurst's Original Travel Baseball Organization
The Cougar Baseball/Softball Club is an independent organization of traveling
teams from Elmhurst, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago. Formed in 1992, the
Cougars are Elmhurst's original travel boys baseball and girls fastpitch
softball organization. We stress baseball/softball instruction and fun, while
playing at a more competitive level.
It is our philosophy, along with the skills of our board of directors, managers
and coaches, which make us a feeder organization to the baseball and softball
programs at York, Immaculate Conception, and Timothy Christian high schools.

Elmhurst Cougar games are played both home and away against teams of similar
skill and philosophy in the Chicago metropolitan area. In preparation for a
forty - sixty game schedule the Cougars begin practices in January. The Cougar
season runs from April to late July each year. Many of our 10U - 14U boys teams
are proud members of the
West Suburban Baseball League (WSBL). Additionally, the Cougars make
appearances in multiple tournaments within the Chicagoland area; we also make
occassional out-of-state appearances such as our annual 12U trip to the
Cooperstown Dreams Park tournaments.
Please browse our comprehensive, searchable database of baseball and softball
playing fields. We have in the neighborhood of 250 Chicagoland ballfield
locations stored. Each record includes a link to the park on Google Maps. The
